Skaha Water Gardens also has a wide selection of aquatic plants.  Unless you are planning a pondless waterfall, plants are an essential component of a water garden.  They not only embellish your pond, but they help to keep everything in balance and maintain water quality.   We have found over the years that many plants labeled as ‘hardy’ either do not survive our winters or struggle with the hot dry summer air.  Skaha Water Gardens propagates most of the plants right here in the Okanagan, so they are adapted to our climate.  We do offer some annual aquatics which help create a more exotic feel to your pond.  Of course no pond is complete without fish swimming in it, so we have a nice selection of pond fish and Koi waiting for you to take them home.
